Under Bridges is based on observations of places where temporary homes pop up every night, just to disappear as suddenly. Stairs and tunnels are housed down regularly in order to erase traces of human presence.
During a period of six mounth Gonsholt follows a group of homeless people in the centre of Paris. They live their lives in provisoric homes, contrasting the modern city life of the others. In this project Stine Gonsholt investigates how these people adapt to the city space and to which extend their existence is accepted by the society.
The installation consists of photography, embroidery, animation and sound.
