Strategy and Negotiations is a documentary based on interviews with five
artists and theoreticians. The documentary reflects upon the questions of social
confronting Art. What is "political art", and how do artists relate to a roll as an actor
in public. In what way do they address their audience, and how do they position
themselves in the negotiation between the art and society in general.
Participants: Michael Baers (USA / DE), Morten Krohg, Annette Kierulf, Hjørdis Kurås
and Elsbeth Ralff (N). This documentary was produced in connection with the
anniversaries of The Artist Union in Hordaland, Norway 2006.
